On April 14, President Karol Nawrocki signed 96 nominations for the first officer rank for officers of the Internal Security Agency, Rafał Leśkiewicz, the president's spokesman, announced on Wednesday morning.

In an interview with Polsat News, Leśkiewicz emphasized that the president's decision regarding the officers is the result of the meeting on January 15, arrangements with the heads of the services, the deputy prime minister, the head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and above all – as he pointed out – with the minister for the coordination of secret services, Tomasz Siemoniak.
– The first applications were actually sent at the end of last year, these were corrected and supplemented after the meeting on January 15, and yesterday the president decided to appoint 96 ABW officers to the first officer rank – said Leśkiewicz.
