Andoni Iraola, his coach Bournemouthwill leave the Premier League club at the end of the season.

The Spanish technician has already informed the “Cherries” management that he will leave in the summer. He turned down several offers to stay in charge of the team after guiding them to an equal-best finish of ninth in the Premier League the previous campaign.

The club has already announced on the official website that the Spaniard will leave in the summer. Following the decision, Iraola also commented, expressing his thanks to the club and his memories of the past three seasons.

It has been an honor to manage AFC Bournemouth and I am proud of what we have achieved together.

I am grateful to the players and staff I have worked with, as well as Bill, who have made my time here so special. As for the fans, you have continued to show me fantastic support for both me and the team, and for that I will always be grateful.

Iraola took over at Bournemouth in June 2023, having also reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup last season.

The Spaniard will remain in charge of the Cherries for a further six Premier League games in a bid to qualify the team for a historic first European club competition, but he will not be the manager in charge of the club should they qualify.

Iraola decided it was time to tackle a new challenge. He is linked with several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Newcastle and Crystal Palace, as well as his former club Athletic Bilbao.

According to the British media, Bournemouth is already considering who will succeed Iraola, and Ipswich coach Kieran McKenna is at the top of the management list.
