Ukrainians can get a new specialty at Metinvest Polytechnic University, free of charge or partially at state expense.

Ukrainians from preferential categories can undergo training once with funds from the Social Insurance Fund in case of unemployment, using a state education voucher. The maximum amount of such a voucher is UAH 33,280, which allows you to fully or partially cover the cost of training. In some cases, education may actually be free for the applicant.

The university offers a wide range of programs focused on the real sector of the economy. We are talking, in particular, about mining, metallurgy, electrical engineering, automation, robotics, IT areas, as well as certain specialties in the fields of economics and management. The university notes that the training is practical and provides skills that can be directly applied in professional activities.

The program can be used by internally displaced persons, veterans, people with disabilities, citizens over 45 years of age if they have the required insurance coverage, as well as other categories specified by law. One of the prerequisites is the presence of a professional pre-higher or higher education.

You can receive a voucher through the State Employment Service online or in person at the employment center, providing a basic package of documents.

The university’s admissions committee notes that they already have experience in implementing this program and have recorded stable demand among people seeking to change their profession or improve their qualifications. They emphasize that “voucher” education is not only an opportunity to obtain a new education without significant costs, but also a tool for professional reorientation. Against the background of economic recovery, such programs should help Ukrainians adapt to the current needs of the labor market, Metinvest emphasized.
