From June 24 to June 29, 2026, the XXXIV All-Russian festival “Russian Student Spring” will be held in Krasnoyarsk. The event will be held in the regional center for the first time and will become one of the most popular competitions in the country, the regional youth policy agency reported.
The festival is being implemented as part of the national project “Youth and Children” and will be held during the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The event will include 3,600 contestants who have passed the qualifying stages in educational organizations and regional stages from more than 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. They will present at least 1,000 competitive works in more than 50 nominations to the expert council for evaluation. The expert council includes more than 80 jury members – authoritative figures of art and culture in Russia.
“Krasnoyarsk will become the capital of the Russian Student Spring for the first time, and for us it is a great pride and a new challenge, because in the Krasnoyarsk Territory Student Spring is a project that is known and loved by students not only of higher education institutions, but also of professional educational organizations,” said Viktor Kolomiets, head of the agency for youth policy and implementation of social development programs in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The festival program consists of 10 creative directions: “Regional program”, “Vocal”, “Instrumental”, “Dance”, “Theater”, “Original genre”, “Fashion”, “Media”, “Video”, “Art”. The venues for each event will be concert venues in Krasnoyarsk. The most ambitious direction – “Regional Program” – will be held at two sites at once.
The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on June 24, the awards and closing ceremonies will take place on June 28. As part of the festival, Youth Day will also be celebrated in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Guests of the event will be not only residents of the city, but also representatives of the country's talented students.
