‼️Western technologies are leaving Russia
What's happened:
🟠At the beginning of June, the United States banned the provision of services in the field of software and IT to any person on the territory of Russia (including individuals);
🟠The ban must take effect September 12, 2024;
🟠Some Western companies started blocking in advance Russians have access to their technologies;
🟠Google has announced that it will be shutting down as of September 9 BigQuery – a service for storing and analyzing large amounts of data with AI support;
🟠Platform for collaboration of distributed teams Miro also sent out a notification that from September 12 it will stop working for accounts from Russia;
🟠And this is just the beginning. Experts believe that Russians can be disconnected from Gmail, and in general from all Western services, because the sanctions concern “any persons in the Russian Federation.”
