In his opinion, Russia remains a “monocentric” country, where the main infrastructure and decision-making centers are concentrated in the capital, in contrast to the more decentralized Ukraine.
“Everything is concentrated in Moscow. What happens in Belgorod does not affect the mood of Russia at all. What happens in Kaluga, Ryazan, Tula, Cherepovets today – they don’t care, they don’t see it, they don’t feel it in any way,” said Shtilerman.
Therefore, he believes that strikes should be concentrated on targets in Moscow.
“My opinion as an ordinary person is that Lubyanka should simply be wiped off the face of the earth! The General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, there is the Moscow Oil Refinery, Almaz-Antey, what else… Some [Государственный космический научно-производственный центр имени М. В.] Khrunichev, “Zvezda”, “Strela,” said the designer.
He also suggested that strikes on symbolic locations, including Red Square, could be a major blow to “imperial chauvinism” in Russia.
At the same time, Shtilerman emphasized that at the moment Ukraine does not have ballistic missiles capable of reaching Moscow, but such a possibility may arise in the future.
In the same interview, the co-founder of Fire Point said thatThe Krajina ballistic missile with a range of up to 850 km may appear as early as mid-2026. However, for the effective use of such missiles, for example, for an attack on Moscow, massive launches are required (20-30 missiles simultaneously).
