One of the claims of the French authorities against Pavel Durov is football. On the 11th anniversary of Telegram, it became known that only 300 citizens of the country bought a subscription to broadcasts of the national Ligue 1.
The reason is the huge price. 15 euros for one match, 30 for a month (five games) and 40 for a month for all matches of the first league. People boycotted TV and used the cart that showed “pirated” broadcasts.
