Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced that a new wave of attacks targeted Israel on Sunday. Israeli authorities confirmed that an industrial platform had been hit by “rocket debris”.
The Revolutionary Guards said the strikes were launched in memory of the three journalists killed in Lebanon on Saturday by the Israeli army, the BBC reports.
Israeli media later released images from an industrial complex in the Negev desert, south of the city of Beersheba, showing a massive fire. The Israeli army stated that the fire was caused by the impact of some rocket debris
Israeli emergency services said a “hazardous materials incident” had been declared in the industrial area and asked workers to evacuate the exposed area and take shelter in “protected structures.”

In parallel, the attacks on Iran continued, with the Tehran headquarters of the Qatari news station Al Araby being hit. The station condemned the attack targeting journalists, which is against international law.
According to the Iranian Red Crescent, ten people were injured in the attack. For now, it is not known whether the attack was American or Israeli.
