Sean Dyche (54 years old) has denied in his characteristic style that he is in negotiations with Tottenham to take over the team from Igor Tudor (47 years old), with the mission of saving Spurs from relegation from the Premier League.

The former Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest manager has revealed a conversation he had in a bar with a man on the very night he was rumored to be at the negotiating table with the London club's management.

Sean Dyche denies talks with Tottenham: 'Unlikely'

Speaking to TalkSport, the technician said: “Ah, it's brilliant, honestly. I was in the pub, right next to my house, and a guy comes up to me and says: 'Weren't you supposed to be in talks with Spurs tonight?', to which I say: 'I'm sitting next to you and drinking a pint of Guinness, so it's unlikely. That is unless you work for Spurs!''.

Sean Dyche has been linked with Tottenham as Igor Tudor comes under pressure due to poor results.

Under the command of the Croatian technician, Spurs lost 5 matches, achieved a draw with Liverpool (1-1) in the championship and a victory in the Champions League, 3-2 with Atletico Madrid, insufficient, however, due to the tour won by “Cholo” Simeone's team, score 5-2.

Previously, Igor Tudor had taken over the team from Thomas Frank, the technician installed last summer.

With 7 rounds to go in the Premier League season, Tottenham are just one point above the relegation zone.

The team for which Radu Drăgușin plays still has Sunderland, Brighton, Wolverhampton, Aston Villa, Leeds, Chelsea and Everton to play.

To give you an insider's perspective, when you're a coach, you know that at some point you're going to be asked these things, no matter what stage you're in, if you're doing well. You are asked and you try to be respectful. Let's take Tottenham as an example. A brilliant club, a massive club, with all that entails.
