In an interview for Gazeta Sporturilor, Bogdan Vătăjelu admitted that he was offered by Dinamo in the last mercato period.

“Yes, there were some discussions before New Year's Eve. To be honest, I would have liked Dinamo, I don't hide it, but, still, some small discussions… I don't want to reveal. People wanted it, they told me the contract period and the amount, but I said I would like to think again and in the end he opted for someone else. I can say that I will pass it on to the elections. I would have liked Dinamo as a project and what is happening there,” he said the football player.
