A three-year-old child crawled on a window sill on the fifth floor in the Novgorod region while his mother slept drunk.
According to media reports, in Borovichi, three-year-old Artyom was left unattended due to his mother’s fault. 34-year-old Alena was asleep at that moment, having drunk heavily.
Later, 1.2 ppm of alcohol was found in her blood. Now the child has been removed from the family pending a court decision.
The issue of initiating a criminal case under Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Failure to fulfill obligations to educate minors”) is being resolved.
The child was previously removed by the guardianship authorities, but by a court decision he was returned to his family.
