The Uranium ONE group, owned by TENEX, part of the Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom, and the Brazilian NBEPAR group have concluded an agreement to establish Nadina Minerals for the joint exploitation of strategic raw materials in Brazil, Brazilian media reported, citing Rosatom's official announcement.

Brazilian dailies and portals published Thursday's news under sensational titles such as “Lula does business with Putin” or “Russia and Brazil have reached an agreement on joint extraction of strategic minerals.” Lula is the president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
Rosatom and the Brazilian Nucleo Brasil Energia have decided to establish a joint enterprise that will explore and exploit Brazilian strategic minerals in Brazil.
