Aromateque was exposed for sale as a fake, the owner fled Ukraine after the publicity, – mass media

In Ukraine, a large-scale scheme for the sale of falsified perfumes was exposed in the elite chain of Aromateque stores. According to media reports, for years, buyers were sold fakes under the guise of niche brands at the price of the original.
After the appearance of public evidence and the start of the investigation, the owner of the company, Pavlo Martynov, left Ukraine together with Kateryna Kudryavtseva, his wife's sister.
Currently, the scope of the counterfeiting and the role of other participants are being established. Aromateque, which has positioned itself as a premium chain for years, may turn out to be the largest sales channel for counterfeits in the niche perfumery market.
