Juan Carlos Ferrero (46) has once again debunked reports circulating about his health, calling them “completely false” after speculation on social media that he was suffering from cancer.
Former world leader and ex-coach of Carlos Alcaraz, Juan Carlos Ferreroturned to a statement published on Instastory to refute the information circulating about his health.
He also did this in October 2025, when it was first speculated that he was suffering from cancer, and now he used almost the same words.
“In the last few days, there have been completely fake news about my health, claiming that I am suffering from cancer. I want to make it clear: it is completely false“, Ferrero emphasized in his message in Spanish.
“Beyond the actual debunking, it pains me deeply that such sensitive topics are used to generate attention and views. Cancer is a disease that has scarred my family and so many others that deserves the utmost respect.
I am grateful for the words of support and affection, but above all, I demand responsibility from all those who spread this type of information without confirming its veracity”, concluded Juan Carlos Ferrero, who accompanied his story with a few words in English: “It's crazy that something like this is happening again…“.

Iberico and Carlos Alcaraz ended a professional relationship spanning more than a decade in December 2025, thus ending one of the most successful partnerships in the world of tennis. “Carlitos” became world leader for the first time in 2022, the year he also won his first Grand Slam title, at the US Open. He then added five more trophies with Ferrero on the bench, two at Roland Garros (2024, 2025)two to Wimbledon (2023 and 2024) and another one at US Open (2025).
Since then, Juanki has turned his attention to his academy in Villena, and in January 2026 he announced that he would step into a new role, that of coach with the mental and professional training of the young Iberian golfer Angel Ayora.
He also had several interviews in which he spoke at length about the collaboration with Carlos Alcaraz, which he took over at the idea of agent Albert Molina. One of Ferrero's most recent public outings was a few days ago at Madrid Fashion Week, where he was with his wife, Eva Alonso.
