Mihai Pintilii (41 years old), the former second coach from FCSBdeclared himself dissatisfied with the attitude of the players in victory with UTA Aradobtained at the National Arena, score 1-0.
Pintilii left FCSB at the end of the regular season, resigning along with previous head coach Elias Charalambous (45). Now, the former “second” of the title champion declared that he expected to see a change in the attitude of the players with the arrival of Mirel Radoi (44 years old) on the technical bench.
Mihai Pintilii, dissatisfied with the attitude of the FCSB players: “Something should change, that's what I expected”
“We take the 3 points, that's the most important thing. I'm glad they won, for the morale of the players. I hope that from match to match they will gain confidence and be better and better.
I would like more from them, a little passion, a little rhythm, to play with their heart. Even if you play in the play-out, it doesn't matter. You have to respect yourself as a footballer. You are in the play-out, no one likes it.
You have nothing to do, win the play-out, win the Conference League play-off and save the season. But, it takes a little attitude. For something to change, that's what I expected! I still don't see it. It's probably because of the atmosphere, because they're playing in the play-out, I don't know. It's hard to get into the minds of the players,” said Mihai Pintilii, on the “Football Show” show on Prima Sport 1.
Mirel Rădoi debuted in his second term at FCSB with a “white” draw at home with the “red torch” Metaloglobus. In the second match, also played at the National Arena, FCSB managed to defeat UTA Arad, score 1-0, thanks to the goal scored by David Miculescu in the 57th minute, the only shot on goal in this match by the defending champions.
