What the Hungarian government is doing is treason

In his speeches, Orban scares Hungarians with war and appeals to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky with statements that the oil blockade and blackmail from Ukraine will not frighten him.

“For me, a Hungarian, the only question is: “Why should I endure this for my taxes?” writes the author.

He notes that on the streets of Hungary there are posters with the image of Zelensky everywhere and the inscription on them: “We will not let Zelensky have the last laugh,” and on YouTube, war-inciting clips generated by artificial intelligence with scenes of executions are being distributed.

“We can say with confidence: what the Hungarian government is doing is precisely treason,” the journalist emphasizes.

He recalled the latest high-profile scandals: statements about an alleged “oil blockade” after the aggressor country of the Russian Federation hit the infrastructure of the Druzhba oil pipeline, the detention of collectors with funds to Oschadbank, as well as the involvement of Russian military intelligence agents in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

“It seems obvious even to a person who is not a lawyer that we see robbery, theft, threats committed within the framework of professional activity, violation of personal freedom, coercion, persecution, blackmail. According to the Ukrainians, what happened indicates a “gross violation of the European Convention on Human Rights and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations,” the journalist writes about Hungary’s seizure of Oschadbank funds from the collection vehicle.

Sheresh also stated that the illegitimate president of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, blackmailed the entire Hungarian people. We are talking about Putin’s statement that his country “has always been and remains a reliable supplier of energy,” but this will only happen when “the leadership of these countries pursues the same policies as today.”

“We can be grateful to Viktor Orbán for showing us all what is at stake in these parliamentary elections with his anomalous and inhumane election campaign, as well as his highlighted ties to the Kremlin,” the author notes.

Context

Elections in Hungary will take place on April 12. Orban is considered the most pro-Russian leader of the EU. The opposition party Tisza, led by Peter Madyar, has the greatest chance of competing with Orban.
