Compensation for accidents at work and occupational diseases. This is what they are supposed to be
The most important change concerns compensation for health damage. The rate for each percentage of permanent or long-term damage will increase from PLN 1,636 to PLN 1,781. You will also be entitled to the same amount if the damage increases by at least 10 percentage points.
Benefits for people in the most difficult health situations will also be higher. One-off compensation for insured persons who have been diagnosed with total incapacity for work and inability to live independently will amount to PLN 31,162which means an increase of PLN 2,526.

Significant amounts have also been allocated for the families of deceased employees. In the case of the spouse or child of the deceased insured person, the compensation will amount to PLN 160,264, and for other family members – PLN 80,132. In situations where more people are eligible, benefits are increased accordingly – e.g PLN 31,162 for each additional child.
The new regulations also provide for detailed rules for awarding compensation to a larger number of eligible family members – both children and other relatives – which affects the total amount of payments.
