After Denis Drăguș (who was suspended anyway), Alex Chipciu and Louis Munteanu, the fourth Romanian international was injured this evening. Marius Marin left the field limping, after only a quarter of an hour, in the match Pisa – Cagliari 3-1. The 27-year-old midfielder is in danger of missing the showdown with Turkey on March 26 after suffering a knock to his left knee. Being on the list of foreigners summoned by Mircea Lucescu for the match in Istanbul, Marin is to find out the doctors' verdict starting tomorrow.
The final batch with which the selector will go to battle, which will also include the players from the domestic championship, is to be announced in these days. In order to have more time at their disposal, football bosses have decided that the next stage of the Super League will start earlier, from Thursday 19 March.
