On the morning of August 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces invaded the territory of the Kursk region. According to Acting Governor Alexei Smirnov, they advanced 12 km inland and captured 28 settlements. The enemy was stopped in the area of the villages of Korenevo, Malaya Loknya and Borki. Since then, the Russian Armed Forces have been pushing the enemy back to the border.
