Romania had two teams in the European Cup groups, FCSB in the Europa League and Craiova University in the Conference League. CFR Cluj was eliminated in the 3rd preliminary round of the Europa League and in the Conference play-off, U Cluj in the 2nd preliminary round of the Conference.
