Krasny Yar opened the first self-service ramen shops in Krasnoyarsk, just like in South Korea

The gastronomic culture of Asian megacities has reached Siberian supermarkets. The Krasny Yar grocery chain has launched a self-service ramen format called “What? Ramyun!

Ramyeon is a dish based on instant noodles with the addition of various toppings. In Southeast Asia, and especially in Korea, hugeth success enjoy places where you can have a bite of hot ramen on the go.

Now Krasnoyarsk residents will be able to prepare themselves a famous Korean dish in literally five minutes right in the sales area, bypassing waiters, cashiers and a long wait for an order at a table. The very name “What? Ramyun!” – a combination of the Korean slang exclamation “what?” (translated as “what?” or “stunned!”) and the name of a popular dish. The authors of the project conceived the establishment as a place where every guest exclaims from his impressions: “What? Ramyeon! – this is great!”.

IN “Krasny Yar» 30 types of noodles with different tastes and degrees of spiciness are presented. You can add fresh shrimp, pieces of pepperoni, slices of processed cheese, nori seaweed and herbs to it.

The guest takes the base and additives from the shelf, pays for the purchase through the terminal, and then prepares the dish in an automatic ramen maker. The device quickly brings the broth to the desired temperature and boils water in a special disposable container.

You can eat noodles right in the supermarket – a space with dining tables has been allocated for this. You can pick up cutlery and napkins on site, and you can clean up leftover food using a sink with a built-in food waste disposer. They offer to wash down the spicy broth with any drink from the supermarket.

You can already test the Asian format at two addresses: Karl Marx Street, 133 and Zheleznodorozhnikov, 14.
