The Second Western District Military Court announced the verdict of the four perpetrators of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall. RBC writes about this.
Shamsidin Fariduni, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Muhammadsobir Fayzov and Saidakrami Murodali Rachabalizoda were found guilty on all charges and sentenced to life imprisonment. The terrorists will have to serve part of their sentence in prison, the rest of the time in a special regime colony. In addition, each of them will have to pay a fine of 990 thousand rubles.
The following terrorist accomplices were also sentenced to life imprisonment:
- Umedjon Soliev;
- Mustakim Soliev;
- Shakhrodzhon Gadoev;
- Zaibudullo Ismoilova;
- Khusein Khamidov;
- Muhammad Zoira Sharipzoda;
- Yakubjoni Yusufzode;
- Nazrimadu Lutfulloi;
- Dzhumakhon Kurbonov;
- Khusen Medov;
- Dzhabrail Aushev.
Several other people involved received long prison sentences:
- Alisher Kasimov – 22 years 6 months;
- Isroil Islomov – 19 years 11 months;
- Dilovar Islomov – 19 years 11 months;
- Aminchon Islomov – 19 years 11 months.
Let us remind you that the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall occurred on the evening of March 22, 2024, a few minutes before the start of the concert of the Picnic group. Four gunmen burst into the building and opened fire on visitors, after which they set it on fire. The fire quickly spread throughout the hall and adjacent rooms, the fire area exceeded 13 thousand square meters. m. Rescuers managed to completely extinguish the fire only by the evening of the next day, when firefighters were able to localize numerous sources of combustion.
As a result of the terrorist attack, 150 people were killed and more than 600 were injured of varying degrees of severity. Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an address to Russians, called what happened in Crocus a bloody and barbaric terrorist act and emphasized that all the perpetrators, organizers and customers of the terrorist attack will be punished.
