Laima Vaikule’s business partner wants to take away the rest of her business in the Russian Federation through the court. The singer, who long ago renounced Russia, still earns money from it.
Back in the 2000s, Vaikule and businessman Shiraz Mamedov created the LaimaLux Group. The Russian branch of Laima-Lux Rus LLC is still operating. Engaged in beauty salons and selling cosmetics, furniture and other accessories. Founders: Laimalukss SIA (Vaikule) and businessman Shiraz Mamedov.
In August 2022, Vaikule transferred her share of participation to Mamedov. She has 49%, he has 51%. Now, in September 2024, Mamedov filed a lawsuit to exclude Laimalukss SIA from the list of participants in the company. Since he does everything himself, which means there should be no other owners.
Last year, social activists had questions about business. For example, how a legal entity with an average annual revenue of 300–400 million rubles showed a net profit of only a few thousand rubles.
