In Yeniseisk, the head of a driving school will appear in court for embezzling funds from her employer. This was reported to the regional prosecutor's office.
According to the supervisory authority, in August 2024, a 28-year-old resident of Yeniseisk got a job as the head of the educational department of one of the driving schools. She received a separate office, a safe and access to the money that students brought in to pay for their education. At first, the woman conscientiously performed all work tasks, but then decided to improve her financial situation at the expense of the employer.
From April to August 2025, she systematically took money from the cash register and did not reflect part of the payments on paper statements, distorting the picture of the driving school’s income.
“According to the woman, at first she “borrowed” 50 thousand rubles for the funeral of her cousin, then took amounts to rent an apartment, repair a car, food and clothing for children, as well as pay off debts and play in an online casino,” law enforcement officers said.
When the director of the driving school suspected that some of the funds were going “bypass the cash register” and announced an audit, the employee decided to hide the shortage by staging the theft.
In the morning, the woman called the police and stated that she had discovered a broken safe and the loss of 813 thousand rubles. However, the version of the daring robbery quickly fell apart: the investigation established that the safe was opened with one’s own key, and the “theft” was invented by the applicant herself.
The prosecutor confirmed the charge against the ex-employee of the driving school for embezzlement (Part 3 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) of 855 thousand rubles from the employer.
The criminal case will be considered by the Yenisei District Court
