The chairman of the IT Commission in the Chamber of Deputies, Radu Miruță (USR), says that such a decision can only be taken by consensus at the world meeting of the ITU (International Telecommunications) in 2027, and the modification documentation should be submitted by the US, not by Romania.

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced on the X platform on Tuesday that the Romanian Government will support the development of new NGSO satellite technologies of the Starink / Spacex network, following the positive test results done last year in Romania.

Ciolacu said that he mandates the regulatory authority in telecommunications (ANCOM) to analyze and actively promote the revision of the current international regulations regarding the emission limits between the satellites.
