The average school teacher in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was a woman of 45.5 years old. This portrait was compiled by the regional Ministry of Education.
In total, women make up 87% of the school teaching staff. The average teacher has more than 20 years of experience (more than 50% of them are counted as such). 72% of teachers have higher education. Also, according to statistics, an ordinary teacher improves her qualifications every three years and participates in professional competitions.
According to the regional Ministry of Education, 32 teachers have a candidate of science degree, two have a doctorate.
Last year, the title “People’s Teacher of the Russian Federation” was awarded for the first time to two Krasnoyarsk teachers: chemistry teacher at school No. 144 Elena Molchanova and Russian language and literature teacher at school No. 10 Marina Fedyunina.
