The regional operator “Rostteh” spoke about the mode of work on long May holidays and gave advice to the townspeople how to avoid accumulations of garbage.

During holidays, many companies also “go on vacation”, but this does not apply to the regional operator. On holidays, the number of waste is traditionally growing, and in order for the townspeople to meet holidays with cleanliness on container venues, Rostteh has already switched to an enhanced mode of operation.

“The May weekend is always accompanied by the beginning of horticultural activities, therefore, waste is formed on the sites no less than on the New Year holidays. This year we expect an increase in the amount of garbage by 50 %. In terms of cubic meters, these are tremendous volumes. Since April 21, the company has already transferred to a high -readiness regime, we transferred a number of problematic accumulations to two -time export, ”Strokteh explains.

Problem venues are those where there is a lack of containers, there is no regular cleaning by a janitor or one site is designed for a large number of residents. There are more than 120 such places in the regional capital, and almost 200 throughout the territory of work. In order for the container sites not to be overwhelmed, at the initiative of the regional operator they are shipped twice a day. However, it is important that the wipers regularly clean the sites, since the regional operator is only responsible for the export of MSW from containers, and management companies are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the territory. It is in this case that the townspeople will be able to enjoy cleanliness and order.

Recall that according to the law, the regional operator is shipping MSW from containers, and the management company is responsible for the maintenance of the site, including cleaning around the containers.
