Craiova University, the leader of the Superliga, confirms its excellent form in the Romanian Cup as well, after eliminating CFR Cluj, score 3-1, at the end of a match decided in overtime. At the end, the coach of Olten, Filipe Coelho, spoke about the qualification, about his elimination at the end of the game and about the accusations related to the fact that the team was, in fact, “Rădoi's”.
Craiova University will play in the semi-finals with the winner of the duel between Dinamo Bucharest and Metalul Buzău, scheduled for Thursday, March 5, from 20:00.
Filipe Coelho, after Craiova University – CFR Cluj 3-1: “A correct result”
“It's a good feeling, it's a fair result. I don't think we deserved to be drawn the way we played in the first 90 minutes. CFR played well and it is a fair result”, began the coach of Craiova.
Asked about entering the field after the win and seeing the red card, the Portuguese coach admitted he was wrong, but complained about a lack of unity in the application of sanctions:
“To be honest, I'm not happy with what I did. I already apologized to some CFR players, because I didn't want to do anything wrong. The boys deserved to win and sometimes I see that the coaches of the opponents, it was also in the previous match, sprinted onto the field and did not receive a yellow card. But I had to control myself better. At the same time, I think it's not fair, because some coaches don't get yellow, and I get it.
It's a credit to the players, who had personality, and it's not about me, it's about the players. We'll see tomorrow how the players present themselves, we don't have much time for recovery, but that's it, we're in both competitions,” Coelho told Prima Sport.

Filipe Coelho: “I didn't come to compete with other coaches”
Asked about opponents who say that the team is, in fact, Radoi's and only taken over by him, Coelho answered firmly: “I respect everybody's opinions. I don't care about those things. I came to do my job, I didn't come to compete with other coaches. It's our team, our goals and I respect the opinions of other coaches.”
