Life in a private house or in the country often presents surprises, and not all of them are pleasant. One of such unexpected problems can be rodents that not only spoil the products, but also carry infections. It can be solved in different ways, but it is easiest and safer to make a mousetrap yourself.
Its creation will not require large costs, and all the necessary materials are probably at hand:
You will need An empty bucket, plastic bottle (1.5 l), wooden rail and wire.
Pierce the bottle with wire along the neck and bottom, creating an axis. Fasten it on the edges of the bucket so that the bottle rotates freely. By the middle of the bottle, glue the bait (arachic paste or a piece of fat).
From the edge of the bucket to the floor, lay a wooden rail-track. The mouse, attracted by the smell, will climb up the bottle. When trying to get to the bait, the bottle will turn over under the weight of the rodent, and it will fall into a bucket. It is better to pour 5-7 cm of water to the bottom-so the mouse will not jump out.
The peculiarity of the design is that it can catch several rodents at once per night. The bottle after the fall of each mouse is returned to its original position thanks to the displaced center of gravity. In the morning it remains only to carefully release the caught pests away from the house.
Earlier it became known which trap will help to catch all the flies in the country.
