Human resource management specialists at Boguchanskaya HPP are improving their skills

Employees of the HR Department of the Boguchanskaya HPP will receive the latest knowledge within the framework of the “Modern HR Practices” program for two years. The training was organized by the Corporate University of Hydropower of the RusHydro Group.

The first module of the program was held at the National Research University “Moscow Energy Institute”. 50 employees of RusHydro, branches and controlled organizations became participants in the program.

“Attracting qualified personnel is becoming more difficult for many reasons, including the outflow of personnel into areas that do not require high qualifications, the decline in the prestige of blue-collar professions, etc. The shortage of personnel in industry, energy and other high-tech industries requires recruiters to constantly improve their skills, automate processes and improve the HR brand of the enterprise,” said Olga Antonenko, a specialist in the HR Department.

The program of the first training module was focused on the strategic goals of the RusHydro Group. Under the guidance of leading business trainers and experts, course participants studied company values, the basics of change management and energy development scenarios. Particular attention was paid to the analysis of the employee life cycle in the organization, the development of corporate culture and methods of increasing staff engagement. The first stage of work ended with introductory discussions on future graduation projects.

The retraining program includes four modules, including the role of the HR specialist as a business partner, organizational design and personnel performance management, risk management and talent management. During the training, employees of the Boguchanskaya HPP will master new competencies in the areas of budgeting, analytics, enterprise performance assessment and internal communications management.

The program is of an applied nature: the acquired knowledge will be introduced into the practice of the station during the learning process. This will allow the Boguchanskaya HPP to strengthen its human resources and ensure the stable development of the enterprise as one of the leading employers in the region. The advanced training course will end with the defense of diploma projects in the fall of 2027.

The main goal of the personnel policy of Boguchanskaya HPP JSC is to build partnerships with personnel, provide favorable working conditions and career opportunities, taking into account the interests of all categories of employees and social groups of the workforce.

The main principle of the personnel policy is to maintain effective functioning and development dynamics through the professional development of personnel, retaining highly professional specialists in a cohesive, responsible and productive team. Personnel management is carried out on the basis of the principles of compliance with the law, corporate and professional ethics, and the personal interests of each employee.
