Otaru Kushanashvili had a malignant tumor removed from his liver and intestines. The operation lasted from seven in the morning and only recently ended.
The showman was operated on after four chemotherapy treatments. Previously, he had been to surgeons twice with intestinal obstruction and peritonitis.
Doctors cleaned his body and then cut out half of his stomach. The TV presenter was hospitalized in June with tense ascites (an accumulation of fluid in the abdomen). After this, a cancerous tumor was found. Then Otaru was given IV drips to boost his immunity.
