PKP Cargo submitted an application to the judge-commissioner to extend the deadline for submitting the final content of the arrangement proposals until April 30, 2026, the company said in a press release.

The justification indicated that the arrangement proposals constitute an integral part of the restructuring plan.
At the beginning of December 2025, the judge-commissioner set the deadline for the company to submit the final content of the arrangement proposals by February 27, 2026.

“The need to extend the deadline results in particular from ongoing work on supplementing and specifying the restructuring plan in connection with the comments submitted by the creditors' committee, which are necessary for the creditors' committee to submit its position on the restructuring plan,” the statement reads.
“Submitting arrangement proposals before the above work is completed could lead to a lack of coherence of the documents, make it difficult for creditors to assess their feasibility and increase the risk of not obtaining the required majority when voting on the arrangement,” it added.
Moreover, as indicated, the company is conducting advanced negotiations with key financial creditors, and the solutions developed require further arrangements and obtaining appropriate corporate consents.
As added, allowing this work to be completed before the final content of the arrangement proposals is submitted will actually increase the chances of adopting the arrangement and efficient approval of the restructuring plan. (PAP Business)
