Putin awarded two large married couples from the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Two married couples with many children from the Krasnoyarsk Territory were awarded the highest government awards for the worthy upbringing of children. The decree on awarding medals of the Order of Parental Glory to the Chetverikov family from the Minusinsk Municipal District and the Trofimov family from the Kozul Municipal District was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Ministry of Social Policy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said that Olga and Ivan Chetverikov from the village of Malaya Minusa raised five children. Olga Yuryevna works in a kindergarten, and Ivan Ivanovich is a bulldozer driver. Their children – two daughters and three sons – are adults. The children successfully graduated from school, took part in scientific conferences and Olympiads, and sports competitions. Now they are all building their future and have already given their parents seven grandchildren.

The Chetverikov family takes an active part in the life of the village and district, leads a healthy lifestyle and is an example for their fellow countrymen.

Irina and Nikolai Trofimov from Kozulka are raising four children. The eldest son is a student at the Institute of Oil and Gas of Siberian Federal University, two more sons are in school, and the daughter attends kindergarten. Irina Aleksandrovna is a nurse at the Kozulsky social service home, and Nikolai Vitalievich works at the Kemchug oil pumping station. All family members show mutual respect, care and support each other. Adults and children have many common hobbies. They go swimming, ice skating and skiing in winter, and bike rides in summer.

“Awarding two families of the Krasnoyarsk Territory with medals of the Order of Parental Glory is an important event that emphasizes the high value of family and motherhood. The Chetverikovs and Trofimovs are a clear example of making an invaluable contribution to the future of our region and the entire country. This is exactly what the national project “Family” is aimed at. Parents with many children are the real heroes of our time, and this once again confirms the correctness of the comprehensive work being carried out in the Krasnoyarsk Territory to support families,” noted the region’s Minister of Social Policy Irina Pastukhova.

Let us remind you that the medal of the Order of Parental Glory, like the Order of Parental Glory, is one of the highest level awards. It is awarded to parents (adoptive parents) who are raising or have raised four or more children. At the time of presentation of the medal of the order, the youngest child in a large family must be at least three years old.

The award is presented to a large family at the request of local authorities at the family’s place of residence.
