In the Sverdlovsk region, the results of the work of a special group created to help participants in a special military operation and their loved ones were summed up.
The composition included representatives of the district administration, social institutions, the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, the Employment Center, Hospital No. 3, the prosecutor's office, deputies and the Veterans Council. In 2025, more than 20 meetings were held, attended by 160 people. They discussed everyday issues, medical support, social protection, and provided legal advice.
As a result, 35 families received help in solving everyday problems (plowing the land, mowing grass, delivering firewood and coal, making repairs). Several more were helped with documents for expanding their living space. More than a hundred people received legal and social support – they were helped to prepare certificates for payments and were sent for retraining for employment.
“Participants in a special operation rarely ask for help,” said Liliya Nazmutdinova, head of the Sverdlovsk district administration. “But those who are now on the front line must be sure that their loved ones will not be left without support.”
Together with the district's activists, humanitarian aid is sent through the Volunteer Foundation. During the year, 18 drone detectors, 8 sets of walkie-talkies, sets of antennas and personal protective equipment were transferred. The main task for 2026 is the employment of those returning from the front. Currently, 15 SVO members are already working in the area.
