A couple of Romanians who illegally occupied the home of a 95 -year -old woman from the French city Poitiers generated a huge water bill, worth over 17,000 euros, according to Libertatea.ro. The owner, left with the debt on her behalf, had to pay it in full.

The incident began in October 2023, when the mayor of the city sent him a letter informing her that two Romanians had entered his house. The woman intended to renovate the building and rent it, which is why she addressed the prefect, requesting the evacuation of those who occupied him without law.

However, his approach was not successful, as the prefecture refused to confirm the abusive character of the employment. However, one of the intruders acknowledged, in front of a judicial executor that he forced the garage door.
