▪️It the strongest earthquake in the region since 1952;
▪️in the city of Severo-Kurilsk after the first wave of the tsunami part of the territory went under water;
▪️in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – mass departure of Russiansroads are paralyzed by traffic jams;
▪️A tsunami wave with a height of 3-4 meters was recorded in the Yelizov district. People are urged to leave coastal areas;
▪️Russia has declared a tsunami threat for Avacha Bay, where it is located strategic underwater base “Rybachy” — a key facility of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Federation for nuclear submarines;
▪️There is a threat to Japan. Fighter jets were sent there to monitor the tsunami. The movement of trains in the country is suspended, and residents of areas in the danger zone are urged to evacuate;
