The death toll from the unknown fever continues to rise, and authorities have not been able to ascertain the exact cause of death at this time.
The tests performed so far exclude the possibility of the H1N1 influenza virus, swine flu, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, malaria and dengue fever. Tests taken from the deceased were sent to the National Institute of Virology to accurately establish the cause.
