She expects that during 2026 “at least $60 billion” in military procurement for Ukraine will be covered by NATO members and partners.
“We ask that about 80% of these funds be allocated to three priority areas. The first is air defense, the second is artillery ammunition, mainly long-range. And the third is investments in our defense production, including drones, missiles, interceptors,” Getmanchuk emphasized.
Context
NATO announced the launch of PURL on August 4 last year. According to media reports, more than two dozen countries have already joined the initiative. The total amount of their contributions to the program reached $4.3 billion, of which about $1.5 billion in December 2025 alone.
