In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police discovered the fact of illegal hunting. This was reported by the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The police established that in the Kuraginsky municipal district, a 38-year-old resident of the village. Big Irba went on foot to the quarries, to see if wolves and foxes are walking there. At the same time, him there was permission to kill one wolf and five foxes.
“Approaching the quarry, he saw two roe deer on its top. The suspect fired six shots from his registered rifle. The man returned home, put the weapon in the car and went back to the quarry to pick up the illegally harvested roe deer. Only now, having reached the carcasses of the animals, he was surprised to find a local police commissioner and a production hunting inspector approaching him,” the regional police said.
Law enforcement officers seized the carcasses of roe deer and a carbine from the man. The amount of damage caused amounted to 80 thousand rubles.
A criminal case has been initiated against the man under Part 1 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal hunting”. He faces up to 2 years in prison.
