The District Prosecutor's Office in Wąbrzeźno is investigating the case of an accident at an electric scooter in Zodwórz. A few days after the incident on Wednesday, a 17-year-old died in the hospital, who was traveling with a 15-year-old. The boy is still in the hospital and it is not possible to hear it.
The accident in a small town was stuck in the Wąbrzeski poviat on April 17. Preliminary police findings show that teenagers riding a scooter will lose control over her and fell out of the way. Six days after the incident on Wednesday, a 17-year-old died in the hospital.
“The investigation is conducted in the direction of causing a fatal traffic accident. We secured the vehicle that young people were moving. The 17 -year -old died yesterday in the hospital. At that moment, there is no indication that any other vehicle or road participant would contribute to the accident,” Janusz Biewald, the District Prosecutor in Wąbrzeźno, told PAP.
The testimonies of the 15-year-old who lies in the hospital and cannot be interrogated.
“If only the 15 -year -old leaves the hospital, and we have information that his stay in the hospital is coming to an end, he will be questioned. It is necessary in this matter to determine who was conducting an electric scooter. For this we will apply for an expert opinion on the speed at the speed at which these young people were moving at this vehicle” – added the head of the Wąbrzeska prosecutor's office.
