Cătălin Cîrjan, the captain of the “dogs” from Dinamo, commented the draw obtained on the “Arcul de Triumf”, score 1-1 with Petrolultalking about the team's performance, Devis Epassy's blunder, but also about the situation in which his manager is involved in a betting scandal.
Both of the game's successes came in the second half. Danny Armstrong opened the scoring for Dinamo, and Gicu Grozav equalized for Petrolul, after an error by goalkeeper Devis Epassy.

“I think we deserved more, we have to score more. I don't know if I fell, I think I was good. We scored, they got away with a few counter-attacks, but we are a team: we win together, we lose together. I don't think we lost control, we just tried to hold onto the ball more. The field was difficult, they were well grouped in 5-4-1, but we make no excuses. We move on and go to Constanța to win.”

Cîrjan, about the case of his manager: “I don't stay on the phone on the day of the match”
Asked about the situation of Cătălin Sărmasan, his manager, who was suspended for a year by the Romanian Football Federation and fined 150,000 lei, as a result of his involvement in sports betting, Cîrjan stated:
“I don't know anything about itI'm not on the phone on the day of the match, so I can't say anything. He's my agent, he's part of my family, I've known him for so long. For now, I will also see what happens in the next period.”
Asked if he had ever been offered a bet or if he had been involved in such a situation, the Dynamo captain firmly replied: “There is no such thing.”
