– Belarus is conducting a hybrid war with our country. This is another version of this war. Previously, they sent balloons towards Lithuania, now more towards us. This shows the nature of the regime, a security-mafia connection, because it is part of both foreign policy and some dirty money. This is the kind of neighbor we are dealing with, the head of Polish diplomacy, who is taking part in the meeting of EU ministers, told journalists.

When asked about the possibility of imposing further sanctions on Belarus, Sikorski replied that Minsk had released a certain number of political prisoners, although unfortunately not all of them. – This is a difficult neighborhood. We have known this for 35 years, he added.

The Operational Command of the Armed Forces in Poland reported on Thursday that on Wednesday night, objects entered Polish airspace from the direction of Belarus. As explained by the Border Guard, the first objects revealed were smuggling balloons.

The command emphasized that such incidents are part of the catalog of hybrid actions that Poland is dealing with in the eastern direction. “The situation is monitored on an ongoing basis, and the forces and resources of the Polish Armed Forces remain ready to carry out tasks related to the protection of Polish airspace,” the Command assured.

As noted, the flight of all objects was continuously monitored by military radar systems. “No threat to the safety of the airspace of the Republic of Poland was found” – reported COD.

To ensure safety, “temporary restrictions were introduced on the use of part of the airspace over the Podlaskie Voivodeship for civilian traffic.” “These actions were preventive in nature and were consistent with applicable procedures,” it was reported.

The Border Guard explained thatneighbor. “Activities are underway to determine the circumstances of the incident,” it added. At the same time, the Border Guard assured that the situation is fully monitored.

DORSZ, the Border Guard and the police constantly monitor the situation on the eastern border of the country and remain in constant contact with each other, exchanging information on an ongoing basis and providing the necessary data on the observed objects.
