According to the Deloitte report “Return on investment in AI: Polish perspective”, in Europe 22 percent companies generate over a quarter of their revenues thanks to AI (26%), while in Poland it concerns 5%. enterprises. The authors of the report pointed out that artificial intelligence is increasingly treated as a tool supporting the implementation of strategic goals and requiring supervision from top management. The data shows this – 23 percent AI projects in Poland are initiated by management boards, and 90 percent companies, responsibility in this respect rests with C-level managers.

According to the publication, Polish companies first use artificial intelligence in areas where the effects can be measured most quickly and easily – primarily to improve operational efficiency. The next places were: process automation, increasing team productivity and supporting data analysis.

The Polish AI market is characterized by high preparation of teams to use tools based on artificial intelligence – indicated the authors of the report. Every second employee (48%) uses AI on a daily basis, and in every fourth organization, over 60% use these solutions. team. “The high level of adoption is supported by access to training, which is wider in Poland than in many European countries,” it said.

According to experts, the greatest barriers limiting the development of AI in Poland concern technological and operational foundations. Compared to Europe, the shortage of technical talents is particularly visible (37% compared to 29%) as well as infrastructure and data quality limitations. (37% in Poland compared to 26% in Europe) – it was reported. However, 32 percent Polish companies (compared to 28% in Europe) have concerns about data sovereignty and model localization.

The report was based on a survey that covered 15 countries in Europe and the Middle East and included a group of 1,854 business and technology leaders. Respondents came from: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain and the United Arab Emirates. Study participants work in organizations with annual revenues over $500 million. and employing at least 1,000 employees.
