Adam Nowak on the future of Polish agriculture. The agreement with Mercosur under the microscope


Poland is a food exporter with an impressive trade surplus of nearly EUR 20 billion in the agri-food sector – Nowak pointed out. The deputy minister expressed his belief that it may be necessary to approach negotiations again and develop new forms of compensation for industries that may suffer as a result of the implementation of the EU-Mercosur agreement. He added that Poland hopes that the final decisions will be in line with its expectations.
