Former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has spoken about his time in London under Antonio Conte.
The Brazilian scored 20 league goals in the 2016-17 season and was instrumental in Chelsea's title win. But, the following summer, Conte told the player that he would no longer count on his services, and he returned to Atletico Madrid.

“It is not normal for a manager not to rely on his goalscorer. I explained to him that I did not deserve such treatment after my contribution to Chelsea's successes. He told me that such behavior is unacceptable,” Costa told John Obi Mikel's podcast.

He continued to vent his anger on his former coach: “He probably had some ulterior motives, because he knew how unfair the situation was. As a person, he is the worst thing you can have on a daily basis. He doesn't trust others. He thinks he knows everything. You don't enjoy training with him.
