USR President Elena Lasconi states that, after the formation whose president is restricted to access the money for the election campaign, deciding not to support it for the position of president of Romania, he collected 30,000 lei.
She says that, in comparison with the amount of 20 million lei spent by another candidate in the election campaign, the 30,000 lei are, “as they say, seeds”.
“The donations button on my site works and I have so far collected 30,000 lei. But take into account the fact that there is presidential candidate that has already spent 20 million. That is, 30,000 lei are, as it would be said,” said Elena Lasconi, on Friday night, at Antena 1, according to News.ro.
She added that she will keep the 30,000 lei from donations to make some promotion posts in the last week of the election campaign.
Asked if he cried when he learned that the party he runs withdrew to his support and blocked access to the campaign funds, Elena Lasconi replied: “No. I did not cry and it will probably happen further.”
