The head doctor of one of the hospitals in St. Petersburg stole about 1 billion rubles with the help of “dead souls”
The head of city hospital No. 20 arranged jobs for relatives, acquaintances and friends as drivers, receptionists, administrators and cleaners.
The total salary of “dead souls” reached 100 million rubles a year.
No one performed any duties and did not appear at the workplace. Their salaries were received by the organizers of the scheme.
The head doctor and her accomplices managed to buy real estate, including an apartment in Moscow City. She also often visited luxury resorts in Dubai and the Maldives.
In total, 36 people have already been brought to investigators.
