On loan from West Ham to AC Milan, Niclas Fullkrug was “trampled” by thieves in the hotel room where he lives.

Shock for the German international Niclas Fullkrug at the beginning of the year! Having just arrived in Milan, after completing his loan from West Ham, the 32-year-old “top” was “visited” by thieves.

Sports director Igli Tare confirms that Niclas Fullkrug was robbed

They broke into his room at the “Melia” hotel, where he is staying, opened the safe and took his jewelry and watches. AC Milan's sporting director, Igli Tare, confirmed everything to the German tabloid Bild: “It's true. The safe in Niclas' room was broken. Terrible!”

Bild reveals that the damage recorded by Fullkrug amounts to 500,000 euros, and the player is collaborating with the Italian authorities to track down the perpetrators. He was not in the room at the time of the robbery.

The striker is looking for an apartment in the city to be able to bring his family to Milan, and despite the unpleasant incident, he declared himself satisfied with the transfer to Serie A: “I really wanted very much to get to AC Milan. I have been here for a few weeks and already feel very comfortable. We have players of quality, determination and unity, exactly what I want.”

In 2019, Sead Kolasinac fought the villains!

Footballers are a target for thieves across Europe. In England, it has already become a common fact that the apartments of the stars of the Premier League are in their sights. According to tabloid The Sun, in recent months, Yves Bissouma and Raheem Sterling have been the victims of criminals.

Other famous examples of robbed footballers are Mesut Özil and Sead Kolašinac in 2019. Two men tried to rob the two Arsenal players of £200,000 worth of jewelery and watches at the time.

On CCTV footage installed at the home, Kolašinac could be seen fighting with them, while Ozil protected his wife in his Mercedes G-Wagon.
