The Krasnoyarsk Youth Center “New Names” spoke about the areas of work and submitted a report on activities in 2024.
Since 2003, the youth center has been responsible for supporting creative and talented youth, because the specifics of the center is responsible for the name: the search for talented and initiative, assistance in their implementation and promotion.
The center also leads several large projects, for example, this is the Crase! Street art festival, where the community of young artists creates monumental compositions on the facades, or the project “New: Theater”, in which the open regional festival of youth theaters, the festival of small forms “The Battle of Actors” and theatrical courses are held.
In 2024, the implementation of street summer projects continued: the festival of modern culture “Cultural Portal on Vavilov”, the open urban space “pilots”. A new project has appeared: “Printing” – a series of educational events for artists and photographers.
After the victory in the competition “Region for the Young”, new spaces appeared inside the Pilot MTC: the space of knowledge (library), a small scene, dressing rooms and a workshop, the space for exhibitions (lower tier) increased, as well as a large concert hall became more functional and multimedia.
The Youth Center “New Names” includes 4 spaces: three of them are represented on the right bank: the main office, the Musical coworking “Volna”, “New: Creative workshops”, the left bank is represented by the site-the Youth Creative Business Center “Pilot”.
On the basis of the Youth Center in 2024, 13 clubs and 13 youth associations functioned, 400 mugs and studios visited. The number of measures taken – amounted to 105 pieces, and 8196 people became participants in various events, 100 initiatives were supported.
