Russians are proud of the circus in the country — VTsIOM
Over the past two years, 20% of Russians have visited the circus, and 94% of survey participants have gone there at least once in their lives. Almost a third of respondents are proud of the Russian circus and consider it the best in the world.
Russian spectators also said that they love the circus for the feeling of celebration (15%), show (9%), magic and delight (5% each). Most often, Russians are attracted to the circus by trained animals and clowns (25% and 24%), as well as acrobats (23%), magicians and gymnasts (11%).
